Training Process
How our training program works
Application
Submit your training application through our training center. Tell us about your aviation background and which rating you're interested in pursuing.
Mentor Assignment
You'll be assigned a dedicated mentor who will guide you through your training journey. Your mentor will create a personalized training plan based on your schedule and goals.
Theory Study
Study the theoretical materials, watch training videos, and complete reading assignments. Access comprehensive resources covering all aspects of your rating.
Practical Sessions
Practice controlling on the VATSIM network under supervision. Your mentor will observe your sessions and provide feedback to help you improve.
Examination
When you're ready, take the theory exam and practical assessment. Pass both components to earn your rating and start controlling independently.
Training Requirements
Before You Start
- Active VATSIM account (P1 or higher)
- Audio equipment (headset with microphone)
